Honey and humans have a history stretching back over 10,000 years. Most probably found in a wild bee’s nest the sweet tasting nectar became an instant hit subsequently our histories being entwined ever since. However, honey isn’t just wonderful to eat, it also has great natural skincare properties which is why we include it within some of our soaps for example the ever-popular Goat’s milk yogurt, honey and oats.

You’d be in good company as honey has been used for thousands of years as a natural beauty ingredient. Its natural humectant properties assist in retaining moisture within the skin. Its natural anti-oxidants help fight free radicals found within the environment and its natural sugars give us extra lather. We use locally sourced honey from a producer within the village of Barmby on the Marsh.
